GO Cards are a great tool for coaches and teachers to introduce field hockey through fun and engaging activities that will develop field hockey core skills and tactics. Cards are printed on a 5.5”x 8.5” high quality, glossy card stock. Each set of GO Cards is comprised of: 

  • 50 game cards with instructions on how to set up and play the game, make progressions and modifications, and provide key coaching points.
  • 13 informational cards that explain the basic rules, roles, equipment needs, and set up of GAME ON Field Hockey, a small-sided field hockey game perfect for players of all ages.

Great Tool for First Time Coaches!

Great tool for first time coaches. Quick way to get all coaches on the same page for drills. Three "happy to glad recommendations" to improve: 1) Number Go Cards in order of beginner to advanced skill level; 2) Annotate next to the Go Card Number in the upper right-hand corner with a) Skill Level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advance) and b) Core Skill (tackling, dribbling, passing, goal scoring, lead games, small side games, etc..) for quick reference rather than needing to refer back to the back of table of contents card. (I did it myself with a marker); and 3) Put them on a ring for easy reference on the field.
